Iris Ash

Deep within a fractured mountain range, a pale, mist-violet mineral lies quietly at rest, its color as soft as drifting fog. From this rare natural tone, AET REMOULD draws inspiration for the new Iris Ash dial, translating the mineral’s cool restraint and layered subtlety into a refined expression of quiet luxury.
Gentle yet complex, the mineral hue reveals delicate grey-violet undertones that give the dial a sense of calm depth. Under both natural daylight and indoor lighting, Iris Ash remains clear, composed, and visually enduring, lending the watch a restrained elegance and lasting appeal.

The main dial is finished with a metallic sunburst lacquer, offering an even sheen with nuanced depth. Three chronograph sub-dials crafted from white ceramic introduce a subtle contrast against the metallic surface, while maintaining excellent legibility. Visual balance and proportion guide the overall composition, reflecting AET REMOULD’s disciplined approach to design and craftsmanship.

The distinctive texture of Iris Ash is derived from AET REMOULD’s signature high-tech precision ceramic—lightweight, exceptionally hard, and highly resistant to wear. Its natural resistance to oxidation and corrosion ensures a lasting, pristine appearance. Yet the very hardness and brittleness of ceramic make every forming and beveling process a demanding exercise in experience and precision. It is this level of difficulty that defines the material’s unique tactile and visual character.

To precisely control both form and color, AET REMOULD has comprehensively refined its HTP ceramic process. Under pressures of approximately 2,000 bar and sintering temperatures of 1,500°C, the ceramic is compressed into a dense structure before being shaped with diamond tools and six-axis CNC machining into a complex case architecture. An in-house plasma coloring technique ensures tonal purity and balance, while laser engraving combined with hand finishing, brushing, and chamfer polishing imparts HTP ceramic with its distinctive depth of light and smooth touch.

The newly developed ceramic folding clasp continues the same material language and craftsmanship as the case. Lightweight yet structurally secure, its smooth folding mechanism offers a natural and stable wearing experience, integrating seamlessly with the watch’s form and surface feel.

Defined by its mineral-inspired misted violet tone, Iris Ash brings together the calm of nature and advanced ceramic craftsmanship. Its presence is not defined by display, but by balance, refinement, and versatility—light on the wrist, understated in character, and rich in texture.
