Three

Art has never been a single form of expression. As a unique way to express personality and creativity, graffiti art is not bound by traditional canvas and brushes, and emphasises freedom and vitality. AET REMOULD's graffiti series has released two popular graffiti style pieces "ONE" and "TWO". Now the sequel "THREE" is coming soon. It continues the essence of the previous pieces.
Graffiti art is not only a visual enjoyment, but also a cultural expression. In the 1960s, the trend of street graffiti began to emerge in the United States, initially with the wall as the canvas, and then expanded to cars, trains, platforms and so on. Nowadays, with more diversified forms and contents of creation, graffiti culture has already spread all over the world, no longer restricted to a certain medium of expression. AET REMOULD integrates this graffiti culture on the wrist and builds a brand new art world on the dial.

The dial of the new watch brings an imaginative experience by its colourful tones and free touch. The upper part of the dial features the "AET" logo in bright yellow while the "THREE" between 4 and 5 o'clock artfully expresses the identity of the piece. And a cartoonish graffiti motif is depicted between 7 and 8 o'clock. The iconic three sub-dials incorporate rap gestures that transcend language and cultural barriers to convey hip-hop emotions and messages. The scale logo also has been redesigned to evolve the time indicator into an artistic expression.

To complement the visually expressive dial design, AET REMOULD has fitted this piece with a sapphire case, which not only enhances its durability, but also gives it a unique lustre and transparency. The transparent case has been embellished with coloured motifs, and the chronograph scale on the bezel is also coloured, enriching the visual hierarchy of this piece.

Sapphire crystal is characterised by its high transparency, resistance to corrosion and stability at high temperatures. It is also one of the hardest materials on earth, with a Mohs hardness rating of 9, making it virtually indestructible by any other material except diamonds. Therefore, the creation of a sapphire crystal case is a complex process that requires several steps and challenges to achieve.

AET REMOULD has been expert in sapphire craftsmanship for many years, with a wealth of R&D experience and technological deposits. In the process of developing the sapphire crystal case, we have specially developed a five-axis CNC machine, which relies on diamond tools to cut the sapphire crystal block into the shape of the case. After cutting and grinding, the craftsmen also need to take the grinding to the next level and finishing, so as to make the surface of the case smoother and shinier. Then, through the combination of ultrasonic and the traditional hand polishing, the final result is a pure and flawless sapphire case.

Through the transparent sapphire caseback, the beauty of a mechanical can be viewed. We have also redesigned the rotor for this. We combined the distinctive graffiti pattern on the dial with the shape of the rotor so that this trendy art can be seen throughout. The bracelet is made of aerospace-grade Viton rubber, which is resistant to heat, oil and aging, and is available in a wide range of colours to give the watch more personal vigor.
