Eos

In ancient Greek mythology, Eos, the goddess of dawn, draped the world each morning in the first blush of rosy light. Wherever her footsteps passed, the darkness receded and the sky awakened with a gentle glow. People believed that this moment of color was the most fleeting—and the most touching—warmth between heaven and earth.
The pink topaz draws its poetry from this natural splendor. Its hue resembles the tender light rising behind the dawn clouds—airy, luminous, and delicately transparent. Under the sun, it shimmers with a dreamlike radiance, like a whispered promise before daybreak, capturing the purest moments of love and hope.

Inspired by this myth, AET REMOULD sets the morning-rose topaz into the watch’s octagonal bezel and hour markers. Thirty-two gemstones are aligned in perfect order, each rigorously selected and precisely mounted for exceptional purity and even color. More than natural minerals, they carry the depth of time and cultural memory, gently linking each movement of the wearer with the flow of time—an elegant legacy worn across generations.

The moon-phase complication serves as a metaphor for time. The waxing and waning of the moon echo the gemstone’s soft radiance, allowing the wearer to feel an inner rhythm between precision and poetry. Thus, Eos becomes not merely a keeper of passing hours, but a resonance of light and emotion, of history and the present moment.

Setting is not merely a demonstration of technical skill—it is an act of artistic creation. The dial and bezel of this timepiece are adorned with meticulously arranged trapeze-cut gemstones, each precisely positioned to ensure both durability and visual harmony. Unlike traditional round bezels, the octagonal design demands far greater precision in both the cutting and angling of each stone. During the production process, the rejection rate for gemstones reaches an astonishing 50%, underscoring the uncompromising standards behind this exceptional work of art.

In the face of the challenges posed by ceramic bezels, the designers and engineers at AET REMOULD devoted over three months to rigorous experimentation and collaborative problem-solving. Their efforts culminated in the world’s first invisible setting technique for ceramic(CIGS)—a groundbreaking innovation that overcame what was once considered an insurmountable obstacle. This delicate process demands extraordinary precision and patience, with every step performed under a microscope. On average, each bezel requires over 600 hours of meticulous craftsmanship, a testament to the brand’s relentless pursuit of perfection.

AET REMOULD’s second-generation HTP ceramic is distinguished by its pure hue, uniform texture, and remarkable hardness—all while offering exceptional comfort on the wrist. Perfectly complementing the brilliance of gemstones, this advanced material is used throughout the timepiece, from case to bracelet. The dual finish—satin brushing paired with jade-like polishing—elevates the watch’s tactile and visual appeal, creating a soft, skin-like touch. The result is a truly luxurious wearing experience, where cutting-edge material science meets refined elegance. The timepiece is further equipped with a new ceramic folding clasp, extending the refinement of the overall design while ensuring secure and effortless wear—bringing Eos into perfect harmony between heritage, sentiment, and artisanal mastery.
