The Independence Monument, erected in the central square of Mexico, built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Mexican War of Independence, is a spiritual symbol of Mexico's freedom and democracy.

At the top of the monument is a statue of the Independence Angel holding a laurel crown and flying wings. The golden statue gleams with the brilliance of the nation in the sun.

AET REMOULD decided to combine this special statue with watches, implying that spirit of freedom and democracy will last forever in the course of time. We use the low angle, with green as the main color symbolizing vitality, and depict the angel on the dial in realistic style.

The red, white and green color of the scale circle and the eagle on the back are all corresponding to the elements of the Mexican's national flag.

This sapphire watch themed as Mexico is named as the Mexico Edition, limited to 5 pieces worldwide.
